APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING ALARM IN A PORTABLE TERMINAL

PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for controlling alarm in a portable terminal are provided to remove the inconvenience that a user has to reset the alarm directly for processing the exception of the alarm by performing a control operation according to an alarming rule. CONSTITUTION: A portable terminal confirms the creation of an input fact for the exceptional state analysis(301), and analyzes the exceptional state according to the set rule(303). The portable terminal confirms the alarm corresponding to the exceptional state(305), and asks to the user the control of the alarm(307). The portable terminal confirms the selection of the user(309), and releases the alarming function(311).
