<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for minimizing or eliminating the production of truncated forms in order to improve the quality of recombinant proteins produced by prokaryotes. <P>SOLUTION: Vectors for producing polypeptides heterologous to prokaryotes comprises, along with a polypeptide-encoding nucleic acid, an anti-termination nucleic acid that inhibits intragenic transcription termination and/or a nucleic acid encoding a GreA or GreB protein and a promoter therefor.
