<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress an error in driving current with respect to a plurality of gray scales. <P>SOLUTION: A pixel circuit U includes a light emitting element E and a driving transistor TDR which are connected to each other in series, and a holding capacitor CST interposed between a gate and a source of the driving transistor TDR. A driving circuit 30 supplies a driving signal X[j] to the gate of the driving transistor TDR, and varies the potential VX of the driving signal X[j] with time so that a time variation rate RX of the potential VX of the driving signal X[j] at a point of time when the supply of the driving signal X[j] is stopped may be a time variation rate RX corresponding to a specified gray scale D of the pixel circuit U. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
