<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide electronic equipment having a display unit whose entire surface is usable as a mirror. <P>SOLUTION: The electronic equipment includes an equipment case 3, a liquid crystal display panel 12 disposed in the case 3, a display window 8 formed at the part of the case 3 which faces an observation-side surface of the liquid crystal display panel 12 in a shape lager than the observation-side surface of the liquid crystal display panel 12, and a reflective polarizing plate 24 disposed on the observation side of the liquid crystal display panel 12 and formed in a shape larger than the observation-side surface of the liquid crystal display panel 12. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
