<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic instrument reduced in size, and also to provide a method of connecting circuit boards. <P>SOLUTION: A portable telephone is provided with: a rigid circuit board 4, an FPC substrate 1; an IC chip 2 mounted on the FPC substrate 1; and a land formed on the FPC substrate 1 to electrically connect the rigid circuit board and the FPC circuit substrate. The land is positioned between the IC chip 2 and the rigid circuit board 4 under a status that the rigid circuit board 4 and the FPC substrate 1 are connected electrically. According to this method, a connector for connecting the FPC circuit substrate and the rigid circuit board is not necessary whereby a mounting area for connection is reduced. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
