<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the following problem: in order to manage and operate Pool created in a storage system A and a virtual volume using the Pool in a storage system B, the virtual volume in the storage system A needs to be copied to the virtual volume in the storage system B, so that a new storage area for copying is required in the storage system B. <P>SOLUTION: The storage system B acquires configuration information of the Pool and a virtual volume of the storage system A and inputs a logical volume included in the Pool to the storage system B on the basis of the acquired configuration information.
