<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent deterioration of brightness and occurrence of moire, and to perform partial switching between a two-dimensional image and a three-dimensional image. <P>SOLUTION: When one of a three-dimensional image and a two-dimensional image is displayed in a background and the other is displayed in a window, a flag bit indicating whether first and second electrodes facing each other of a variable polarization cell overlap the window is set as a pulse to be applied to the first and second electrodes, and different waveforms are applied to the first and second electrode in accordance with this flag bit, whereby the three-dimensional image display is partially performed in the window and the two-dimensional image display is performed in an area other than the window, or the two-dimensional image display is partially performed in the window and the three-dimensional image display is performed in the area other than the window. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
