<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce power consumption at a low cost in a system wherein apparatuses are interconnected. <P>SOLUTION: The switch device includes respective transmission/reception means connected with the respective apparatuses through communication cables respectively and transmitting and receiving signals to/from the respective apparatuses respectively, and a connection exchange means for performing connection exchange between the apparatuses by performing the connection exchange between the transmission/reception means. Then, the switch device is further provided with a reception state monitoring means for monitoring the signal reception state of the transmission/reception means, and a transmission stop means for performing signal transmission stop processing to the other transmission/reception means connected through the connection cable to the other apparatus in connection relation with the apparatus connected through the communication cable to the transmission/reception means monitored by the reception state monitoring means corresponding to a monitoring result by the reception state monitoring means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
