<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an information processing unit from being broken due to the first contact of the corner portions when being carried by its handle, and to improve the mounting strength of the handle to the unit. <P>SOLUTION: The information processing unit includes: a housing 1 that incorporates an information processing means; the handle 4 arranged on one side surface of the housing 1; and support members 41 and 42 that are arranged on the one side surface of the housing 1 to protrude and support the handle 4. The support members 41 and 42 are arranged continuously from the one side surface to a pair of other side surfaces adjacent to the one side surface in a direction in which the handle 4 is bridged, and have corner portions 41c and 42c between the one side surface and the other side surfaces. Thus, a stress applied between the housing and the handle when a user carries a notebook PC holding the handle can be dispersed, resulting in improvement in the mounting strength of the handle to the housing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
