<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diffusion plate capable of uniformly diffusing light, and to provide a direct backlight module using the diffusion plate. <P>SOLUTION: The diffusion plate includes: a light transmission substrate uniformly diffusing light; and at least one light transmission cloth 506 adhering to a lower part of the light transmission substrate and weakening penetration of a portion of the light.
