<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for molding a cylindrical original plate for printing which manufactures a cylindrical original plate for printing with a high productivity and with a high thickness accuracy by sticking a sheet-like resin on a cylindrical substrate. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The apparatus for molding the cylindrical original plate for printing is for sticking the sheet-like resin on the cylindrical substrate (a). The apparatus for molding the cylindrical original plate for printing includes: (1) a mechanism which holds the cylindrical substrate (a) having a photo-curable adhesive layer on the surface and rotates it circumferentially; (2) a mechanism which has a plate-like article or a cylindrical article with a light beam permeable slit and changes an interval between it and the surface of the cylindrical substrate (a); (3) a light source which irradiates it with the light through the light beam permeable slit and is arranged in the mechanism (2); (4) an optical system which pinches the sheet-like resin between the plate-like article or the cylindrical article and the cylindrical substrate (a), and condenses the light from the light source on the photo-curable adhesive layer existing between the sheet-like resin and the cylindrical substrate (a) through the plate-like article or the cylindrical article.
