PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem wherein the temperature of a printing medium cannot be kept constant when printed in the case of continuously repeating the printing onto the printing medium, because the temperature of a printing medium in preheating for drying ink is made high in the case of bringing a heating temperature when printed to a lower value than a heating temperature around the printing, in the printing medium. SOLUTION: This printer is provided with a head unit group 6, a feed roller 14 and pressure contact roller 15, a platen 9, and a driven roller 4 abutting on a conveying belt 1. A heating means is arranged in each of the feed roller 14 and the pressure contact roller 15, the platen 9 and the driven roller 4 for heating the printing medium 2. The heating means perform heating to satisfy a relationship of T1<T2<T3, where T1 is a temperature in the feed roller 14 and the pressure contact roller 15, T2 is a temperature in the platen 9, and T3 is a temperature in the driven roller 4.
