<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a print output device for making it possible to use facsimile equipment capable of receiving electronic mail, and printing electronic mail and an attached image file as a printer for a personal computer without imposing any troublesome labor on the user of a personal computer. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A print output device is provided with: an image file conversion part 22 for converting any file other than electronic mail and an image file included in the print output of an application 12 of a personal computer 10 into an image file; and an image transfer part 23 for creating electronic mail to which the image file from the image file conversion part 22 has been attached, and for transmitting the electronic mail to the destination of facsimile equipment 30a.
