<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a retaining stand allowing a user to work in a different posture to use a personal computer or the like without a desk or a table by making an object such as the personal computer not only just placed but retained-fixed even though there are various desks or tables on which the objects are placed for a work. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The retaining stand includes a main board for the object being placed, a main board end pivoted on a lower board end placed below the main board and a means for fixing an angle of the main board to the lower board.
