The combined folded and adhesive joint (4) comprises an adhesion (9) which encompasses the edge area (7) of the inner part (3) of the body part (2) on both sides. The adhesion is formed by a kneadable strip adhesive during the manufacturing of the folded and adhesive joint. The outer part (1) of the body part is folded in an edge area (6) around an edge area of the inner part of the body part. An independent claim is included for the following: (1) a method for manufacturing a combined folded and adhesive joint at a body part of a motor vehicle; and (2) a kneadable strip adhesive for manufacturing a combined folded and adhesive joint at a body part of a motor vehicle.
