PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode high in adhesion between a current collector and an active material layer and low in impedance. SOLUTION: An electrode 1 includes a current collector 2 having a plurality of through-holes 4 and an active material layer 3 arranged on each surface of the current collector 2, the current collector 2 includes projections 4a, 4b extending from the edge of the through-hole 4 to the surface or the back surface of the current collector 2, and an angel between the projections and the surface direction of the current collector is 30-80°. Since the projections 4a, 4b are surrounded by the active material layer 3, a physical anchor effect is produced to increase adhesion. Since the projections 4a, 4b are inclined in the surface direction of the current collector 2, when the projections vertically extends to the surface direction of the current collector 2, the distance between the active material separated from the projections and the current collector 2 including the projections 4a, 4b becomes short.
