<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain stable fixing performance over a prolonged period of time by preventing damage of an end part of a fixing belt and improving durability thereof. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A fixing device 15A has a fixing belt 15d rotating with being hung around a fixing roller 15b and a heating roller 15a. In the fixing roller 15b, regulation members 15e for regulating meandering of the fixing belt 15d are provided on both ends in a direction parallel to a shaft of the fixing roller 15b. The fixing belt 15d has an end part region 15h including an edge of the belt and a non-end part region 15i which is a region excluding the end part region.
