<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reaction processor for automatically and accurately processing a reaction by using a reaction vessel plate. Ž<P>SOLUTION: An upper unit held on a body unit 100 in a horizontally slidable manner is openable and closable. When the upper unit is fully closed, the upper unit descends in an arc in the rotating direction. A positioning pin 107a is provided on an upper surface of the body unit 100 while a hole 107b is provided in a position thereto corresponding of a lower surface of an inside frame 104 of the upper unit. The positioning pin 107a is made to fit in the hole 107b when the upper unit is fully closed, allowing the body unit 100 and the upper unit to be positioned in relation to each other in a direction vertical to the sliding direction of the upper unit.
