PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately measure a three-dimensional shape of a photographic subject by using images acquired by irradiating the subject with pattern light. Ž
SOLUTION: The photographic subject is irradiated by emitting the pattern light polarized in a predetermined direction from a projector 4. Rays of reflected light of the pattern light at the photographic subject are polarized in a direction perpendicular to the predetermined direction by filter sections 14 and 15, and enter a first and second cameras 2 and 3. Thereby the first and second cameras 2 and 3 acquire a standard image and a reference image, and the three-dimensional shape of the photographic subject is measured by causing an arithmetic operation part 5 to associate their pixels.
