<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an attitude control device for a car carrier for stably controlling the attitude of a vessel, securing a draft to submerge a propeller when a loading weight is small, securing the stability of the vessel, and ecologically and safely navigating the vessel with good operating efficiency. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The attitude control device 6 for the car carrier 100 includes a bow fresh water tank 1 and a stern fresh water tank 2 respectively arranged in subdivisions positioned farthest from the center of gravity of the vessel of the car carrier 100 in a longitudinal direction, a starboard fresh water tank 3 and a port fresh water tank 4 respectively arranged on both sides of a double bottom around the portion having the maximum width of the vessel, and the attitude control device 6 including a pump means for moving fresh water onboard between these tanks. In each of these fresh water tanks arranged in the subdivisions positioned farthest in the longitudinal direction and lateral direction of the vessel, fresh water of about 15% of a dead-weight capacity, and 1/2 of the total weight of the fresh water tanks is loaded.
