PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a server for an image information processing system, which can provide accompanying information in such a manner that users accessing an image can be satisfied therewith in releasing a shot image to the public over a network together with accompanying information of the shot image; an image information processing program; and an image information processing method. SOLUTION: An image file and its accompanying information are uploaded to a server 100 to store them in the server 100; and its images are released. In the case of occurrence of a download request for the released images, information is deleted from original accompanying information or an information content is changed to an appropriate value for downloading for each user. In the case of downloading an image, processing (print output, slideshow display) for an image in a display device 20 causes relevant information to be fed back to the server 100 to update the accompanying information.
