<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a powder feeder capable of smoothly feeding a powder without generating bridges and mouse holes. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The powder feeder 1 includes a tank 10 for storing the powder, a cylinder 12, and a screw 2. A spirally-wound blade part 21 is provided to the outer periphery of the screw 2. The powder guided from the tank 10 into the cylinder 12 is moved forward by rotating the screw 2 and output from the end of the cylinder 12. An agitator 3 having a rotating shaft 31 disposed parallel to the screw 2 and a plurality of agitation bars 32 extending radially from the outer peripheral surface of the rotating shaft is disposed in the tank 10. The agitation bar 32 of the agitator 3 has such a length that the tip thereof crosses the blade part 21 of the screw 2 within the outer diameter dimension of the blade part.
