<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide merits such as the improvement of post-treatment work efficiency of a used napkin by eliminating release paper which is flutteringly extended in the longitudinal direction from an opened package sheet or to which bend wrinkles are attached. Ž<P>SOLUTION: Wing-like flaps Ws and hip holding flaps WBs at both side parts are folded over to the surface on the side of a surface sheet 3 respectively, a pair of wing displacement-preventing adhesive layers 8 are covered with release paper 11 for the wing displacement-preventing adhesive layer so as to be released, a pair of hip displacement-preventing adhesive layers 8B are covered with release paper 12 for the hip displacement-preventing adhesive layer so as to be released, and an individually packaged state is achieved by folding the absorbent article at least four times in the longitudinal direction. The pieces of the release paper 11 and 12 are disposed at the intermediate position of each folding line, the release paper 12 is bonded to the inner surface of a package sheet 10 extending on the rear side of the absorbent article 1, and the release paper 11 is bonded to the outer surface of the package sheet 10.
