PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for reducing propagation of noise caused by vibration of a fuel rail to an engine head in a direct-injection internal combustion engine. SOLUTION: The apparatus has a holder supporting an end of a fuel injector, which is provided in a fuel cup on the fuel rail, so that the fuel injector is in alignment with a direct injection fuel opening in the engine head. A vibration isolator is provided between the holder and the engine head or the fuel cup and reduces the propagation of vibration from the fuel rail to the engine head. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
