<p>The present invention relates to a device for generating vouchers, such as in particular discount vouchers. According to the invention, the device comprises a central processing unit 2, at least one terminal 3 connected to a cash register 4 and voucher printer 5, said at least one terminal 3 comprising means 6 for retrieving so-called checkout data coming from the cash register 4, means 7 for transmitting so-called article data with the central processing unit 2 in order to receive data about the articles rung up, and means for controlling the voucher printer 5. Said at least one terminal 3 further comprises storage means 10 for updating the article data and means 11 for setting out the data, so-called vouchers, to be printed on the vouchers, enabling each terminal 3 to operate autonomously between the updating operations with the central processing unit 2.</p> |
