摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new catalyst which is effective for oxidation reaction of hydride, and, especially, which is capable of solving the conventional problems of a noble metal catalyst in using a hydride as a hydrogen generating source or in generating electricity by directly using the hydride as fuel. <P>SOLUTION: The catalyst for electrochemical oxidation of hydride contains rhodium, ruthenium or iridium as metal ingredients, and is composed of a metal complex including a polycyclic compound containing nitrogen or carbon as a ligand. The hydrogen generation device includes the catalyst as a catalyst for an anode electrode, and uses an anode electrode for a direct type fuel cell which uses a boron hydride compound as fuel, and the catalyst as an anode electrode catalyst. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
