PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce calculation costs required for calculating a projection image for three-dimensional video image reproduction to be given to a projector and to easily calculate the projection image even if the number of projectors or their positions, a size of a screen or a resolution of the projection image are changed, corresponding to a configuration after the change.

SOLUTION: A storage device 2 stores an image for projection image generation obtained by sampling a subject at a plurality of viewpoint positions, which are different horizontal positions, watching the subject from an observer side. A projection pixel extraction section 33 extracts pixels at positions calculated by a horizontal readout position calculation section 31 and a perpendicular readout position calculation section 32 from the image for projection image generation at a viewpoint position specified by the horizontal readout position calculation section 31 as a pixel to be adopted for each of pixels constituting the projection image to be projected on each projector 4. Each of the projectors 4 projects the projection image constituted of the extracted pixels.
