PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus for executing user's original decoration to a reproduced image without changing the main configuration of the imaging apparatus. SOLUTION: When an object image is moved in a specified direction, a detection means detects the moving direction and moving amount, a drawing icon is moved to a position equivalent to the moving amount and the moving direction, the moving track of the drawing icon is displayed at a display means together with the movement of the drawing icon, and a line segment is drawn. A digital camera is moved without pressing a drawing button 13a ((b)→(c)) when a user wants to move the drawing icon 30 to a desired position, and the digital camera is moved while pressing the drawing button 13a ((b)→(d)) when executing desired decoration from the desired position.
