RUBBER COMPOSITION FOR TIRE TREAD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition for a tire tread causing the level of the dry grip and wet grip performances of the rubber composition the same as or higher than that of a rubber composition in the related-art even comprising as a main component, a natural rubber. SOLUTION: The rubber composition comprises: 100 pts.wt. of a rubber component comprising 50 to 90 wt.% of a natural rubber and 10 to 50 wt.% of an epoxidized natural rubber; 20 pts.wt. or less of a carbon black having a nitrogen adsorption specific surface area of 100 m2/g or more; 60 to 120 pts.wt. of a silica; 5 to 20 pts.wt. of a natural plasticizer; 0.05 to 2 pts.wt. of tetrabenzylthiuram disulfide; and further 1 to 20 wt.% of a specific mercaptosilane coupling agent based on the amount of the silica.
