PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil separator capable of securing oil separating performance and preventing decentering of a gas refrigerant lead-out pipe. SOLUTION: An oil separator body 50 includes a barrel section 52 and end plates 53, 54 at upper and lower ends of the barrel section, and disposed in an uprising state. A refrigerant lead-in pipe 60 is disposed in an upper region of the barrel section 52 along the tangential direction of the barrel section 52, its pipe conduit is opened toward an inner peripheral face of the barrel section 52, and a supporting body 65 is disposed inside of the boundary between the end plate 53 of the upper end and the barrel section 52. A gas refrigerant lead-out pipe 70 penetrates through the end plate 54 of the lower end, extends along an axis L0 of the barrel section 52, and is penetrated through the supporting body 65 to be supported, and a pipe conduit as a refrigerant gas inlet is opened toward an inner face of the end plate 53 of the upper end.
