PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of providing a printing output of excellent readability even if using color information generated by using a coloring material other than a black color. SOLUTION: The printing output is carried out with respective coloring material amounts of forming an image of the coloring materials of three colors reduced to smaller than coloring material amounts at a usual printing time when print-outputting a black image by composing the image comprising coloring materials of three colors of a cyan color, an yellow color and a magenta color. The image forming device controls, as a method therefor, at least one out of an exposure amount of exposing a photoreceptor when forming an electrostatic latent image corresponding, for example, to the image of the coloring materials of the three colors, on the photoreceptor, a developing voltage of a developing device for developing the electrostatic latent image corresponding to the image of the coloring materials of the three colors by the respective coloring materials, and the number of pixels of printing data corresponding to the image of the coloring materials of the three colors.
