PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flame-retardant composition which, when blended into a resin composition, can obtain a flame-retardant resin composition which can maintain mechanical properties and can have an improved color tone under the environment of a high temperature and a high humidity or when molded at a high temperature, and to provide a method for producing the flame-retardant resin composition of stable performance using the flame-retardant composition. SOLUTION: The flame-retardant resin composition includes (A) 100 pts.wt. of a polycarbonate-based resin, and (B) 1-30 pts.wt. of a flame-retardant composition for a resin. In the flame-retardant resin composition, (B) the flame-retardant composition for the resin is obtained by mixing and stirring (α) an organophosphorus compound and (β) an alicyclic epoxy compound, and has an acid value of≤0.2. The amount of (β) the alicyclic epoxy compound is in the range of 0.001-20 pts.wt. per 100 pts.wt. of (α) the organophosphorus compound. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
