PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a numerical control device properly and efficiently adjusting a backlash correction amount when a lost motion or the like occurs. SOLUTION: The numerical control device 10 for driving a motor 4 to control the position of a machine is provided with: a command generating part 1 for outputting a position command; a backlash correcting part 2 for adding a correction amount corresponding to a moving direction of the machine to the position command on the basis of a backlash correction amount; a servo control part 3 for controlling the torque of the motor on the basis of a motor position, motor current and the corrected position command; and a backlash correction amount adjusting part 6 for adjusting a backlash correction amount of the backlash correcting part on the basis of the position command, the motor current and the current backlash correction amount of the backlash correcting part.
