<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a receiver and a communication system using the same mainly used for locking/unlocking and opening/closing a door of a car, or the like, without erroneous operation and capable of being operated securely and easily. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A control means 13 transmits a noise signal at a predetermined frequency from a transmission antenna 11 and at the same time transmitting a predetermined setting signal from a transmitter 16 by a predetermined operation of an operation means 8, and a receiver 14 sets the frequency of the noise signal in accordance with the setting signal, and thereby, it is possible to adjust reception sensitivity by changing the frequency of the noise signal from the transmission antenna 11 and to set a distance in which a remote operation is enabled comparatively easily. Because of this, it is possible to obtain the receiver 14 and the communication system using the same easy to manufacture and capable of secure remote operation without erroneous operation.
