<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a package for housing piezoelectric vibrators which can be easily miniaturized, while securing strength of adhesion to an electrode pad of a piezoelectric vibrator and an insulating substrate, and to provide a piezoelectric device. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The package for housing piezoelectric vibrators is provided with: the insulating substrate 101, having a rectangular recess 102 in which the piezoelectric vibrator 104, having a pair of connection electrodes at one end of a plate-like piezoelectric substrate is housed; the pair of electrode pads 103 which consists of the pair of conductors which are formed in one inner side of the recess 102 and adjacent to each other in the width direction, and to which the connection electrodes of the piezoelectric vibrator 104 are adhered via conductive adhesives 105, respectively; and an insulating support 113, which is arranged adjacent to the electrode pads 103 on the bottom surface of the recess 102, and the upper surface of which has an insulating support which supports the piezoelectric vibrator 104 at an end on a lower surface. Since the piezoelectric vibrator 104 is adhered firmly to the electrode pads 103 and the insulating substrate 101 by the conductive adhesives 105 and supported by the support 113 at the end on the lower surface, the package can be miniaturized, while the strength of adhesion is secured.
