<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an asphalt mixture for road pavement capable of sufficiently and effectively using a waste gypsum board as a filler. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In an asphalt mixture for road pavement including a filler, a type II anhydrous gypsum (CaSO<SB>4</SB>), which is a non-water absorptive anhydrous gypsum having a moisture content not more than 1% and is generated by crushing a waste gypsum board and heating them as a replacement of stone powder which has been conventionally used as a filler, can be used sufficiently as the asphalt mixture for road pavement.
