PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing method and an image processor for properly inspecting or measuring an object to be measured even when a relative position relation between the object to be inspected and illumination changes. SOLUTION: A luminance information synthesis part 308 of an image processor processes input image data input to an image memory 302 to generate synthetic image data by comparing an R concentration value in an R memory 305R with a B concentration value in a B memory 305B for each pixel, and weighting and synthesizing the R concentration value and the B concentration value based on the comparison result.Specifically, as to each pixel of the input image data, the higher one (concentration value whose reflected light quantity is larger) of the R concentration value and the B concentration value is synthesized with the other concentration value by a low ratio, and the concentration value of the pixel is configured of only the other concentration value to generate the synthetic image data.
