PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a phenomenon that delay and dull of electric current start-up occur at the time of dimming-on of a tubular current waveform on a ground side of a lamp without causing problems of light-emitting efficiency or modem interference. SOLUTION: In a backlight inverter of PWM dimming, only during a fixed time of start-up of dimming-on, a frequency of an inverter oscillation frequency signal is reduced from a regular frequency at normal time. For example, the inverter oscillation frequency is decreased to a certain fixed frequency from the frequency at the normal time (frequency jump). Otherwise, at a timing of dimming-on, from a state that the frequency is decreased, the frequency is gradually elevated to the regular frequency (frequency sweep). COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
