摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical device, in a direct backlight using a linear light source, which can enhance the extraction efficiency of light and further can fully reduce its luminance unevenness. <P>SOLUTION: The optical device 3 includes an optical sheet 20 having optical transmissivity; and a light diffusion sheet 10 having light transparency. The optical sheet 20 icludes a light incidence surface 20a; and a light-emitting surface 20b. In the light-emitting surface 20b, a lenticular lens array 21, in which a plurality of lenticular lenses 22 extending in parallel to each other are arranged along the width direction of the lenticular lenses 22, is formed. The pitch for the lenticular lens array 21 is <10μm. The light diffusion sheet 10 is arranged at the side of the light-emitting surface 20b of the optical sheet.
