<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dye-sensitized solar cell with a glass-made electrode substrate and a metal electrode substrate arranged oppositely, stably functioning as a solar cell with inconveniences such as crack of the cell or peeling-off of a sealing material caused by a thermal expansion difference between the glass-made electrode substrate and the metal made electrode substrate effectively avoided, without giving rise to an enlarged area of an electrode substrate or degradation of conversion efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: In the dye-sensitized solar cell with the metal electrode substrate 1 and the glass-made transparent electrode substrate 3 arranged oppositely to each other, and having a power-generating area X including an electrolyte layer 7 and a semiconductor porous layer 5 sensitized with dyes and a sealing area Y including a sealing material 9 positioned around the power-generating area X and coupling both electrode substrates, a concave part 20 for absorbing expansion and contraction due to heat is formed on the surface of the metal electrode substrate 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
