<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve control efficiency of a control system as a whole by partially sharing sequence control with another PLC when any one of a plurality of PLCs has no margin of sequential control. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The plurality of PLCs 2-6 respectively executing different sequence programs to control a load, are connected to an identical bus system. By each of the PLCs 2-6, its own sequence program execution status is stored and updated in real time in a shared memory 36. One PLC 2 refers to the shared memory 36, and when another PLC has a margin of load handling, the PLC 2 transfers a part of its own sequence program to the other PLC 4 so that the PLC 4 carries out the transferred part of sequence program instead of the PLC 2.
