PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intercom system that notifies a resident of visitor calling to allow him/her to adequately confirm a visitor, which has a simple structure and allows hearing-impaired persons, such as hearing loss or adventitious deafness to easily confirm visitors and improves their convenience. SOLUTION: Visitor calling from a slave device 1 is notified to a master device 2, a calling notification device 3 and an additional calling notification device 4. In the calling notification device, a signal detector 301 detects notification sound signals that are generated by a master device notification sound generator 204 of the master device and are output from a master device speaker 203, a light emitter 303 performs light-emitting display, and a notification device speaker 300 sound-outputs the notification sound signals. In addition, the additional calling notification device performs wireless communication with the calling notification device, and an additional notification sound generator 401 and an additional emitting driver 404 detect calling notification signals from the signal detector of the calling notification device.
