PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a speaker device improving the appearance of a room, and allowing a panel-like speaker to be arranged at a height as desired by a user staying in the room. SOLUTION: The speaker device includes the panel-like speaker 1 housed in a housing hollow place 5 formed on a ceiling surface 4 and opened downward, with its undersurface substantially flush with the ceiling surface 4.
