<p>A hybrid power plant that combines a variety of renewable heat sources with a fossil fuel furnace system. Saturated steam generated by the renewable sources is routed through the fossil fuel fired furnace where superheat is added. The renewable sources would include geothermal, thermal solar, and biomass energy sources. Reductions in emissions per unit of power and cost per unit of power are obtained.</p>
