The invention relates to a device (1, 15) for automatically laying and draping a plurality of portions in web form (8, 25, 45, 54) of a dry sheet-like formation (55), in particular of a multiaxial laid fibre fabric and/or a woven reinforcing fabric, to create a profiled preform (53) on a core (7, 19) by repeated laying and draping of the portions (8, 25, 45, 54), in order to produce a reinforcing profile with a composite material. According to the invention, at least one portion (8, 25, 45, 54) is kept in at least one cassette (3-6, 20) between two roller conveyors (9, 10, 21, 22) ready for laying on the core (7, 19). As a result of the preferably simultaneous laying of preferably more than one prefabricated portion (8, 25, 45, 54) of the sheet-like formation (55) on the core (7, 19) by means of at least one cassette (3-6) of the cassette arrangement (2), a profiled preform (53) can be fully automatically laid and draped quickly and with great dimensional accuracy, and at the same time with good reproducibility, for the production of CRP profiles. The profiled preform (53) prepared in this way is, for example, further processed in an RTM device within the device (1, 15) by infiltration with a curable plastics material in a mould to form a composite component, in particular a CRP profile that is curved in at least one spatial direction. Furthermore, the invention relates to a method for efficiently producing CRP profiles formed such that they are at least uniaxially curved. |
