<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flat nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery in which capacity reduction at the time of charge/discharge cycle is suppressed, and to provide a method of manufacturing the same. <P>SOLUTION: In the nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery, a negative electrode is a negative electrode molded body 6 containing negative electrode active material particles capable of storing lithium. These negative electrode active material particles contain silicon. Then, in an element molar ratio of lithium and silicon obtained by X-ray photoelectron spectrometry of a surface of the negative electrode molded body 6, when the element molar ratio on a larger side is H, and the element molar ratio on a smaller side is L, H/L of the initial full-charge state when lithium is stored in the negative electrode molded body 6 is 3.0 or less. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
