<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink-jet recording method having high image density and suppressing the occurrence of a color change after image recording. <P>SOLUTION: The ink-jet recording method comprises a process for applying, by an ink-jet method, yellow ink whose content to all yellow dye of water-soluble azo dye represented by a general formula Y-1 is 50 mass% or more, onto a recording medium including a support body and an ink receiving layer provided on the support body and containing a polyallylamine derivative.
