PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording method by which high image density and good printing grade can be given and which is excellent in scratch resistance in various recording media.

SOLUTION: In the inkjet recording method, a pigment ink composition and a reaction solution are stuck to the recording medium to perform printing. The reaction solution comprises a compound expressed by general formula (1) by 0.3 to 10% and a metal salt by 1 to 15%.
