<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus which has a constitution wherein an image forming unit is attached from a direction crossing a shaft direction of a developing roll, or the like, the image forming apparatus enabling a sealing member to be pulled out, in a state with the image forming unit attached to a printer. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus includes: the image forming unit 26; an apparatus body 12 that has an attaching part 160, to which the image forming unit is removably attached in the direction crossing the shaft direction of a developing member (developing device 44); an aperture (second hole 400), that is a part of a housing constituting the attaching part and is provided, at a position opposed to an end 200 of the sealing member (seal member S) of the image forming unit, and through which the sealing member is made to pass; and an energizing means (reinforcing film) that energizes the end of the sealing member, in an exposing direction so that the end of the sealing member is exposed via the aperture according as the image forming unit is attached to the apparatus body. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
