<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projector in which an optical filter is incorporated freely forwards and backwards on an optical path in a space saving state while securing latitude in arrangement design of an optical system. <P>SOLUTION: A projection window device 72 holds a color filter 74a and a cover glass 74b in such a way that the optical filter and the cover glass are alternately switched and positioned in the optical path on a light-exiting side of a projection lens 60 functioning as a projection part. Thus, when the color filter 74a is arranged on the optical path, image projection is performed in a color tone priority mode in which color reproducibility is prioritized. When the cover glass 74b is arranged on the optical path, the image projection is performed in a luminance priority mode in which luminance is prioritized. In such a case, the color filter 74a and the cover glass 74b are incorporated in the projector 100 together with the projection window device 72 in the space saving state, so that basic constitution of an optical engine portion of the projector 100 need not be changed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
